Insurance

Most vein treatments are eligible for health insurance coverage. However, navigating the specific processes of a large insurance carrier can be difficult and overwhelming on your own. Because we work with these institutions on a daily basis, we can guide you through all the necessary steps and ensure that you receive the maximum amount of coverage your plan entitles you to.
We accept all major private insurance plans, Medicare and Tricare. Prior to your appointment, our staff will complete a complimentary benefit evaluation to determine deductibles, co-insurance and other expenses that may not be covered by your plan. If you are unsure about your particular insurance, please call our office at (803) 253-8667.

When you come for your appointment, please bring:

  • Your insurance information, including your insurance card.

Some insurance plans require referral forms from your primary care physician (PCP) for specialty office visits. If you belong to a plan that requires a referral, please also bring this form with you.

  • Are treatments covered by insurance?
Most insurance companies consider the treatment of symptomatic varicose veins medically necessary. Our patient services coordinator will meet with you to discuss the requirements of your specific insurance plan when you schedule your procedure and will work with your insurance carrier to get your procedure approved.
  • Can I pay for my treatment with a credit card?
We accept Visa®, MasterCard®, and American Express®. We also accept CareCredit® patient payment plans.

Take the first step towards better looking, better feeling legs today at The Vein Clinic by scheduling an initial consultation. Schedule an appointment online or give us a call at (803) 253-8667.
