Chilly Weather Closes The Vein Clinic Office
- Posted on: Jan 30 2014
The low temperature Tuesday was 26 degrees with snow flurries, which was 12 degrees below the seasonal norm. In fact, to quote a holiday song, “The weather outside was frightful…”
Snow and ice were forecast to start around 11 a.m. on Tuesday, but precipitation actually began in the late afternoon and it snowed overnight with low temperatures and frozen roads on Wednesday, so everything in town closed on Tuesday and again on Wednesday. Reluctantly,The Vein Clinic was closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, but we opened on Thursday.
The climate will continue to be inclement the next few days with state and local law enforcement agencies repeating the message to motorists for Thursday to beware of icy slick roads. Then it should warm up… until the next storm in this winter of record colds and “Polar Vortexes”.
In the meantime, if you’re suffering from painful, swollen, throbbing legs because of varicose veins or vein disease (venous insufficiency), it’s time to call Dr. Neal Reynolds at The Vein Clinic to schedule a complimentary free screening on Wednesday, February 12th, 2014, 8:30 am – 6:00 pm.
Let Dr. Reynolds determine the extent of your vein disease with an ultrasound exam. Call 803-253-8667 today.
And remember, most future procedures are covered by insurance.
