Missed Our Free April Vein Screening?: Sign Up Now For May 30th
- Posted on: Apr 29 2013
We know that you’re busy running around town. Between work, family and other commitments, you may have not have had the time to attend our April 25th free vein screening at The Vein Clinic’s Columbia office.
In fact, Dr. Reynolds and his staff saw 41 new patients at our April screening, plus another 30 at our March 28th screening event. That’s why we’re pleased to announce that we’re now taking calls for our Thursday, May 30th free vein screening event.
What happens at a free vein screening?
When you call (803) 253-8667, we’ll schedule a 15- to 20-minute appointment on May 30th to look at your legs – both on the surface and subcutaneously. If you happen to have bulging, swollen or aching veins, those are all symptoms of varicose veins and a strong indication that you have vein disease. You could also have vein disease if you have blotchy, unsightly spider veins.
During your appointment, you’ll be examined using an ultrasound machine to show you the INSIDE of your legs and where you may have venous insufficiency, a medical condition in which the veins have problems sending blood from the legs back to the heart. Left untreated, this may cause worse problems later on.
Space is limited. Sign up before the May 30th Free Vein Screening event is full.
When: Thursday, May 30th
Time: 8:30 a.m – 6:00 p.m.
Where: 1725 Devonshire Drive in Columbia
Please feel free to forward this blog to a friend or family member who may be experiencing vein problems such as pain, aching, swelling or a heavy feeling in the legs which can all be symptoms of varicose veins, or blotchy, unsightly spider veins.
Bring/wear shorts or a skirt. Light fare will be provided. During your screening, if Dr. Reynolds determines that you have venous reflux, most varicose vein procedures are covered by your medical insurance.
Call The Vein Clinic today at (803) 253-8667 if you should have any questions about our minimally invasive procedures to treat varicose veins or in-office sclerotherapy procedures to remove spider veins.
